Guest Minister
As a guest minister in a number of Unitarian Universalist and Interfaith Temple pulpits for over twenty years, it is my great pleasure to offer reflections and/or music on inclusiveness, meaningful actions, earth based rituals, world spiritual practices, and being the change. I will work with your worship committee and music director to create a service that flows smoothly and affirms the theme of your choice. Together with my "accomplice in ministry," my gifted guitarist partner, Joe Pollock, we can also offer guest musician selections as needed.
Sample Sermon Topics
Celebrating Imbole, Candlemas, St. Brighid's Day
Imbolc marks the midpoint between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox. Can you begin to feel an awakening, the stirrings of new possibilities? Imbolc is a time to set our intentions and make plans for our beloved community.
Aging as a Spiritual Practice
Aging as a spiritual path offers many gifts to those fortunate enough to travel it. We will explore becoming an elder as opposed to growing older, acknowledging that it may take decades of life experience to fully reveal and polish the jewel that is our soul in all it's splendor.
A Feather on the Breath of God
In this one-woman play, I appear as Hildegard Von Bingen, the extraordinary 12th-century nun, writer, composer, healer and prophet. Her message of spirituality, holistic healing, the divine feminine and caring for the earth was daring in her time and is more urgent than ever in ours.
The Nature of the Soul - It's Not What You Think
Who are we? Do we identify with the self that is the body we inhabit or with the Self that inhabits it? Let's explore the differences together.

Linda is a gifted worship leader and for years I have called upon her to officiate at weddings and memorials that I am unavailable for. She has also beautifully facilitated one of our small groups for mutual ministry. I consistently rely on Linda to design meaningful rituals for our congregation. She is a talented musician and word-smith, creatively combining those gifts with her wide and deep knowledge of multiple religious traditions. I have been blessed to serve a congregation where Linda offers her many gifts so generously.
